Onsite Service Dog Training Class

Our schools in Dublin are closed and will remain so until the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted and we can resume our normal operations. All in-person training sessions are postponed.

In consideration of the Covid-19 restrictions, no children are permitted entry into the training sessions and each handler is permitted to bring only one service dog. The policy has been enforced since June 8th, 2020.

To ensure the safety and health of both trainers and students alike, we have enforced new regulations as of June 8th, 2020. The customer whose training sessions have been postponed will be offered to transfer into the online courses.

Access for Multiple Dogs

Due to health concerns, we have restricted access to the training sessions by making it possible for a single handler to be able to bring one dog only. Handlers who have enrolled with more than one dog will need to present a handler for each of their dogs who is at least 18 years of age.

Refunds & Transfers

All payments are final and non-refundable regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic. The booking of a training session and a location is non-transferable. The purchased training sessions can not be resold to a third party and we will not grant access to persons outside of our agreement. Any in-person training sessions that may be impacted by the government’s Covid-19 regulations can be transferred online. Please note that refunds will not be offered at any stage.

What if I can not attend?

Your training sessions are announced at the time of purchase. We are following a strict schedule that is based on a 4-week cycle. We strongly recommend amending your calendar appointments so you can benefit from the training sessions. Persons who can not attend the sessions will be provided with a training guide after week 1.

Weather Conditions

Our training sessions are usually performed in all weather conditions. However, extreme weather conditions like extreme storms and rains will be considered and there will be rescheduling for the next week. Our trainers will provide notice as early as possible for postponed training sessions, please remember to check your emails.

Session Times and Dates

Please, keep in mind that the time for the training session may be changed if we deem that the class is too big. The time can be adjusted by one hour or the training session can be rescheduled for the following week.

Private Training

The purchased training sessions are accessible for a period of 6 months. If you need to change a booked private training, please send us a message at least 48 hours in advance so we can reschedule. Should you not reschedule on time, the private session will be forfeit, we will not issue a refund and we will not schedule a new one for you. Our private sessions and training sessions with a class are non-refundable at any stage.

Training Techniques

The focus of our teaching is positive reinforcement. We have a consistent methodology and we are strongly against using prong collars, shock collars, or any similar utilities. Please, keep in mind that attending any of our sessions while carrying non-positive training items will lead to their temporary confiscation.

Vaccinations

It is imperative that your dog is fully vaccinated and has the DHPPi & Lepto vaccines before starting any of our training sessions. The Kennel Cough vaccine is not mandatory, however, we strongly recommend to get it for your dog at least 5 days before attending our sessions.
